Children Activities
The following is a
sample of some of the programs and events you can enjoy on a Disney
Cruise Line vacation. Programs and events are subject to change
without notice.
Children's Programming participation guidelines and special requests
Physical and Social Interaction
Children's programming is open to all children* ages 3-12, who are:
- Completely potty trained
- Able to interact comfortably within our counselor-to-child ratio groups
of 1-15 (ages 3-4) 1-25 (ages 5-12)
- Able to interact comfortably with peers of their own physical size and
within our established age groupings of 3-4, 5-7, 8-9 and 10-12
(A child may participate in an older age group, if they are within one
month of the minimum age for that group. Example would be a 7-year-old who
wishes to join the 8-9 group and is within a month of turning 8.)
*Exceptions that may prevent participation:
- A child who shows symptoms of fever, vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained
skin rash, discharge from the nose or eyes or has any other contagious
disease or illness
- A child who becomes disruptive within the group. (Should this occur, it
may result in the child not being able to participate in Programming,
without a parent or guardian)
Special Requests that Disney Cruise Line is unable to accommodate
- A child who requires one-on-one care
- A child or adult who wishes to participate in an age group much
younger/smaller than their physical age/size. (Example would be a
10-year-old wanting to be with the 5-7 age group)
- A child who needs the attention of a counselor with special training
- A child who needs counselor-assisted medical attention
Family Interaction
If you child's needs cannot be accommodated, there are a multitude of
events and activities throughout the ship, which the entire family can
enjoy.

The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are open each evening from 5:30 - 6:30
pm (except for embarkation evening) for the entire family to enjoy the
space together.
Parents or guardians may accompany their child to the Oceaneer Club and
Lab programs and activities at any time throughout the cruise.
Parents may make a request for modified programming for a limited period
during the cruise. Disney Cruise Lines® ability to fulfill the request
will depend upon the child's needs, the availability of counselors,
program participation, and other applicable considerations. Disney Cruise
Lines cannot guarantee that special requests will be accommodated. Such
requests must be made prior to sailing, through the Disney Cruise Line
Special Reservations coordinator.
For 3-and 4-year olds, who are not potty trained or who may prefer a
smaller adult-to-child ratio (1-6), parents may request that the child be
accommodated in Flounder's Reef Nursery, the infant and toddler group
babysitting area. The fee for this service is $6 per hour, per child and
is based on availability. For more information on the facility, please see
Group Babysitting section.

Participation details
- Babysitting is not available in guest staterooms.
- This service is available for children ages 12 weeks to 3 years*.
- Reservations are taken on embarkation day from 1:30-3:30p. Space is
limited; available on a first come first serve basis, based on sitter
availability
(In order to accommodate as many families as possible, we may limit the
number of multiple requests per family)
- The fee is $6 per child per hour, $5 per additional child per hour,
2-hour minimum required
- Nursery is open each evening and selected times during each day

Children train to be Mouseketeers, practice marching, match up Disney
Friends, watch a video clip of 1950's Mouseketeer show opening. MICKEY

An adventure with clues to help find TINK's hiding place. Hopefully
she will make a very magical appearance.

Ionithermie Detox
An exclusive European treatment which is replacing liposuction as a way of
removing cellulite. The treatment firms and tones, correcting cellulite,
while giving the added benefit of inch loss. The treatment also raises
metabolism and boosts energy levels.

La Therapie Facial
This fantastic Parisian facial is now available outside France. Using gels
and creams rich in amino acids and nourishing plant extracts, this facial
cleanses the lower layers of the skin while transporting active
ingredients into the skin. It also includes a relaxing neck and shoulder
massage and complete the treatment with a purifying facemask.

Seaweed Massage
Combing the power of seaweed, sage and aromatherapy, this treatment
re-mineralizes the body, boosts a sluggish system and detoxifies the body.
Also included is a 25-minute aromatic massage, which includes scalp, feet,
back, neck and shoulders.

Combination Therapy
A fantastic 25-minute back, neck and shoulder massage, as well as the

Hydrotherapy Spa Bath
Allow warm water and aromatherapy oils caress the body and take the mind
to far off places. Over a hundred different jets will massage the body
from the soles of the feet all the way to the back of the neck. After a
consultation with the Spa Nurse, the jets will be programmed to meet
individual needs. Results can be achieved to breakdown muscle tension, aid
arthritis and revitalize. A soothing milk whey skin treatment is also
available for dry skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.

Surial Bath
A fun, exfoliating, re-mineralizing treatment you can try by yourself,
with a partner or in a group of three. Enter the Surial Bath chambers
where you will be provided with three different colored medicinal muds.
Apply these all over the body, including the face, then relax in the

from the mud. Wash away the mud with individual showers and take your time

excursions in Nassau to add to their Disney Cruise Line vacation
fun! All shore excursions are booked onboard Disney Magic and
Disney Wonder at the Shore Excursions Desk deck 3, midship. Please
confirm tour schedules and children's age requirements at the Shore
Excursions Desk.
Atlantis Beach Day
This full day adventure is a one-of-a-kind experience! You begin with a
35-minute historical harbor cruise to the Paradise Island Ferry terminal.
From there you will be escorted to a reserved location on the beach at the
Atlantis resort. There, you can enjoy a complimentary lunch at the Dive-In
snack bar, and a guided tour through "Discover Atlantis," the marine
habitat aquarium attraction. Also at the Atlantis resort, you can try your
luck at the casino or shop at one of the resort's exquisite boutiques.
Please note that there is quite a bit of walking with this experience.
Return ferry transportation is included and available up until 5:30 pm.
After this time, you will need to take a taxi (additional cost) back to
the ship by 2:00 a.m.

Discover Atlantis
You begin your experience with a 35-minute historical harbor cruise to the
Paradise Island Ferry terminal, across from Atlantis. From there you will
be escorted to the resort to begin a guided journey through "Discover
Atlantis," the extensive marine habitat aquarium attraction. Themed as the
Lost City of Atlantis, this attraction is home to over 120,000 fish,
representing 150 species. Please note that there is quite a bit of walking
with this experience. Return ferry transportation is included and
available up until 5:30 pm. After this time, you will need to take a taxi
back to the ship by 2:00 a.m.

Sunshine Glass Bottom Boat
The perfect excursion for enjoying the beauty of a coral reef without
getting wet! The glass bottom boat takes you around Nassau harbor as the

Caribbean Queen Snorkel Boat
Some of the most beautiful reef habitats await you as you enter the
fascinating submarine world of the warm Bahamian waters. Your experience
begins with a narrated tour of historic Nassau and takes you to your final
dive destination: the reef at Athol Island. As you don your snorkel and
vest, you'll receive a snorkel demonstration before entering the water.
The vessel is equipped with freshwater showers and modern dive ladders.
You will have approximately one hour to enjoy this open water snorkeling

You set sail from Prince George dock to the Island World, on a
